We are glad to inform you that the Department of EEE along with the GUB EEE Club and IEEE PES Student Chapter GUB is going to organize an online quiz competition named ‘Battle of Brains – The Series Edition’ on 1-2th May 2021. During the COVID-19 pandemic when all the educational institutions are closed, and the students are becoming depressed as well as frustrated day by day because of all the negativities going around, the chairperson of the Dept of EEE Dr. ASM Shihavuddin introduced ‘Battle of Brains’ to motivate the young learners. This competition tests the student’s capability in Science, Mathematics, English, and Basic Electrical & Electronics. Joining in a Zoom meeting, the participants are to play through the Kahoot App. The faster and more accurate the answers are the more points a student gets.

It will be the 3rd second time organizing this nationwide mega online competition which already has garnered a special place among university students throughout the whole country. This was clearly visible as 670+ participants from 50+ institutions participated in our first program in September 2020, making it the biggest online quiz competition of this year during the lockdown, while in our 2nd version, 1075 participants from 336 institutions registered for the event with great enthusiasm. We had Elite Air Conditioner and Marcel as our Event Sponsor on the 2nd version. We are working diligently to make it even bigger this time with a target of 2000+ participants.
