We are privileged to share with you that an orientation program was arranged by the Dept. of JMC on Monday afternoon (22 March, 2021) to welcome the freshers of Spring 2021.
The event was presided over by the honorable Vice Chancellor of Green University of Bangladesh Prof. Dr. Golam Samdani Fakir while the respected ProVice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Razzaque attended the program as a special guest. Prof. Dr. Fayzur Rahman, Treasurer and Prof. Dr. Golam Ahmed Faruqui, Dean, Green Business School and Faculty of Arts and Social Science, GUB were also present at the event as special guests.
It’s a matter of joy that Prof. Dr. Golam Rahman, Editor, Daily Ajker Patrika and former Chief Information Commissioner, Information Commission of Bangladesh honored us with his presence as the Chief Guest. Mr. Mohiuddin Sarker, Editor, The Dhaka Post.com joined us as the Guest of Honor.
Acting Registrar of GUB Mr. Md. Saiful Islam kept the welcome speech to the freshers. Chairperson of the Department Dr. Md. Aliur Rahman was present with all other faculty members of the department. Students of JMC welcome the freshers with a tiny cultural event at the second part of the arrangement.
