We are very delighted to share with you that the Permanent campus of the Green University of Bangladesh has arranged the “MEET THE VICE CHANCELLOR of GUB” program virtually for the University admission aspirants, their guardians, and current students to offer an opportunity for the students of permanent campus to share their opinions, thoughts and queries to the top administration of the University.
The Respected Guests presented on the program were Prof. Dr. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Razzaque, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Md. Fayzur Rahman, Treasurer, Md. Saiful Islam, Registrar (Acting), Deans of the Faculties, Chairpersons of all the Departments, Prof. S.M.K. Nazmul Haque, Controller of Examinations, Ashraful Anower, Director F & A, Md. Mazharul Islam, Deputy Registrar and faculties of permanent campus to enlighten the program. Total 134 participants presented on the program.
At the very first of the program Ms. Umme Ruman, Assistant Professor and Director of permanent campus presented the opportunities and beautiful sites of our permanent campus. Mrs. Farhana Akter Sunny, Senior Lecturer briefed the co-curricular activities, several events, and the mentorship program of the permanent campus. Mr. Sajib Biswas, EEE Day batch, described the importance and activities of clubs and talked about his experience with online classes. Mr. Md. Mazharul Islam, Deputy Registrar described the admission process, waivers, and different types of scholarships and their requirements offered by the university. The honorable chairpersons of all the departments gave special suggestions and guidelines to the recently admitted and admission expected students. They also discussed the achievements, importance, and opportunities of higher studies, qualified faculty members of their departments. Prof. Dr. Md. Fayzur Rahman, The treasurer, gave a speech based on the future plans and strategies of the Permanent campus. The Honorable Pro-VC Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Razzaque started his speech with the mission and vision of the permanent campus and emphasized online transformation of all the activities of the department due to this pandemic situation. Prof. Dr. Golam Samdani Fakir, Vice Chancellor explained the responsibilities of the teachers and students in this 21st century through his speech and conveyed the message that Green University is ready to nurture today’s Z-generation students.
During the open question-answer session the university aspirants and also the current students presented their queries. The honorable Pro-Vice Chancellor responded to their concerns properly.
