MoU Signing in International Media

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Green University Language Center, Green University of Bangladesh, Bangladesh, and Centre for Endangered Languages, Sidho-Kanho-Birsha University, India, on 19 January 2021. The news of this one of a kind international collaboration between two language-oriented centres has been covered in the reputed আনন্দবাজার পত্রিকা of West Bengal.
Sidho-Kanho-Birsha University is a public university located in Purulia, West Bengal, dedicated mostly to promote and protect indigenous culture and language. It has 19 academic departments, 31 affiliated colleges, and it mostly offers post-graduate and doctoral degrees in various disciplines.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed in the kind presence of Honorable Vice Chancellor, Honorable Pro-Vice Chancellor, Honorable Treasurer, Honorable Registrar, as well as the Honorable Deans, Chairpersons, and Different Section-Heads of Green University of Bangladesh (GUB). Ms Serajum Munira, Director, Language Center, signed the MoU on behalf of GUB. As witnesses, Dr Parvez Ahmed, Honorable Chairperson, Department of Law, GUB, and Dr ASM Shihavuddin, Honorable Chairperson, EEE, GUB, signed the document.
On behalf of SKB University, Honorable Vice Chancellor, Honorable Registrar, Director of Centre for Endangered Languages joined the session through Zoom platform and completed the signing ceremony from their end as well.
