ROLE OF JUDGE/ARBITRATOR IN MOOT COMPETITIONS:

·         I was present as one of the Panel Judges of the 4th DATO’ HANIF HASSAN E-MOOT COURT COMPETITION 2022 (Semi-final) held on 13th of March 2022 virtually via an Online Platform in the Faculty of Law, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) which is also known as the National University of Malaysia in collaboration with the Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution (AIADR), Malaysia.

·         Having been invited, I was present as one of the guest arbitrators for Moot Shanghai 2022 , at 20.00 PM – 21:30 PM (Shanghai time) on March 22, 2022, via virtual zoom at moot Shanghai. Moot Shanghai 2022 was organized by the East China University of Political Science and Law, Shanghai University of Political Science and Law, co-organized by Shanghai Arbitration Commission and Shanghai International Arbitration Centre. Over 1000 law students from more than 19 different jurisdictions worldwide participated. For that moot competition, 56 teams from the 56 renowned Universities around the world participated from March 21-25, 2022. Hundreds of experienced legal practitioners and arbitrators from both common law and civil law countries worked together as guest arbitrators.

  • Participated in the Malaysia Novice Arbitration Training Camp 2022 (“ MY-NATC 2022”) initiated by the Advocacy and Mooting Unit of University Utara Malaysia (“Committee”) as presiding Arbitrator held on the Zoom Video Conferencing platform on the 7th May 2022.
