Microgrid Dynamics Control: GA-Optimized LQR vs. ILQR Controller Comparison

——————————————————————————————————————

My research explores the dynamic control of microgrids, emphasizing the comparative analysis of GA-Optimized Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) and Integral Linear Quadratic Regulator (ILQR) controllers. This study aims to enhance the stability and efficiency of microgrid operations through advanced control strategies. By leveraging Genetic Algorithms (GA) for optimizing LQR and evaluating the iterative improvements of ILQR, my work contributes to the development of robust control mechanisms essential for the future of decentralized power systems. The paper is recently in the publication proceedings of the 2024 IEEE PEEIACON
