The BSc in Textile Engineering program is a newly launched field of study at GUB. The Textile sector of Bangladesh has been developing rapidly to meet the necessities of the huge population of the country as well as for the export sector which is flourishing because of our cheaper manpower resource.
The BSc in Textile Engineering program has been designed to fulfill the needs of our national textile industries for skilled manpower as well as for export of skilled and efficient manpower abroad. The program will not only increase the basic knowledge and confidence of learners but will eventually help develop their carrier as skilled technologists by promoting quality of our products and for uplifting of production technology.
Structure of BSc in Textile Engineering
To obtain BSc in Textile Engineering (TE) degree students will have to complete 161 credit hours. BSc in Textile Engineering program will be of 4 (four) years duration divided into 12 trimesters as shown in table.
